The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring celestial beings, fiends, and sinister influences growing in strength within the city.

Warning: Key plot points for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The latest chapter finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the main group to embark on their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.

This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the outset that having everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for adventurers who prefer a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem mismatched, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these specific adventurers are best suited for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to head next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose death started the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his own means, breaking into the secret base, attacking the rogue, and swiping all the enchanted items to dispose of.

Casimir then settled his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, north of the city, with Cyd close behind.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each adventurer has a specific drive to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • The adventurer knows Timmony and warns that it is a nasty location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as important members in the powerful family could assist the team access places they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are sought by the rulers that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The healer turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This results in them no alternative but to head to Timmony in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight players to round up the Questers and Strategists parties.

Fans can anticipate learning which players will be in which group in the season’s last Overture episode, released on next week.
